Aussie roots troubadour Ash Grunwald has announced a massive run of tour dates around Australia kicking off in March, to celebrate the release of his new single ‘Hammer’.
The latest track from Grunwald is the first song we’ve heard from his forthcoming as-yet-untitled 10th studio album, and this eclectic, gritty new single suggests his next could be his boldest yet.
“‘Hammer’ feels like a rebirth for me in some ways,” Grunwald says of the new single. “I went in to record Hammer knowing the musical boundaries I wanted to push as well as the traditions I wanted to respect and tried to create something my fans would love.”
Grunwald’s first run of headline shows in Australia since 2015 will see him take in a throng of dates in both capital cities and more regional areas, and could well see the roots musician previewing more of his forthcoming record.
